Could someone please be so kind to walk me through how i can set my stick up so that the afterburner won't come on before i push it over the detents (i think it's called)

 

Noe the burners come on just before i hit them.....

It is generally done done thru the axis tuning function in dcs settings .Click on the throttle in the controls column to bring up the menu . Look for axis tune . I would try decreasing the saturation first , say 5% . If that doesn't fix it , return saturation to default , run your throttle all the way forward , and adjust the curve in that area .
