Shimonu Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 So as I've been learning the HARM I've been annoyed by something. The Offset mode of the RWR is extremely necessary to see which target you've selected but so many times I see the targets piled on top of each other on the HUD even though the offset mode is selected. If I toggle it on and off it's showing as I expect with them spread out. Is this a bug?
Tholozor Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Got a picture or track? I would imagine that the offset mode will only split contacts up to a certain amount of degrees around the HUD, otherwise contacts in front of you might be displayed as behind you in offset mode. If you've got a ton of RWR contacts, I'd recommend you use the display limit function to reduce the amount to display only priority contacts. drallabco Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 Same problem here. Spread out on the EW page, but clumped on HUD.
mutex Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 As far as I've noticed, if you have contacts on HUD and then enable Offset, it correctly spreads them. If they disappear for a moment and come back with Offset already enabled, contacts are piled up again. So, new contacts get piled up on HUD even if Offset is on. Offset only works on already existing contacts on HUD at the time you enable it. Workaround is to disable and re-enable Offset when new contacts appear.
