BMW969 Posted January 20, 2019 Author Posted January 20, 2019 So, the mirrors destroy CPU performance ? Mirrors don't let SLI work Intel Core i7-8700K @ 5000MZ GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS ULTRA GAMING WIFI EVGA RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 HYBRID Kingston KHX2666C16 32Gb Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1Tb Kraken CPU cooler ViewSonic 4K
bad_turbulence Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Mirrors don't let SLI work'' Nice trick. Also, i have read the SLI threads where there are some profile settings i need to take care of once i attempt it. But, just wondering if SLI would still work on the most recent version of DCS (current build) that was released on June 10th, 2020? Or it was released on June 9th or 10th, don't know for sure. But anyway, I have a 2080Ti and if I do SLI with two cards, i just want to make sure i'm not throwing $$ away by trying (buying) two cards with SLI if some sort of bug doesn't allow it to work. Thanks !!!
SkateZilla Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 it's not that the mirrors disable SLI, Both GPUs are being utilized it's the mirrors enabled are enforcing the 45 FPS Lock, when off, both GPUs go from 60% utilization to 90+ and the FPS Rises. mirrors on, and it drops back to 45. It's more likely a side effect of the world being rendered TWICE (you view + mirrors). Turn on the TGP and see if the FPS Drops back to 45 Level.
