Aim7-MH still hits target with no semi active radar guidance.

 

A number of players in Blue Flag MP have reported that they have been killed by a Aim-7, after already killing the fighter that launched the missile.

 

I have created a simple mission in SP to demonstrate the issue.

8:00:10 F-18C fires AIM-7MH at Target Su-27

8:00:14 F-18C hit by R-27T fired by Su-33

8.00:14 F-18C pilot dead. F-18 is spinning to the ground out of control

8.00:29 Su-27 hit by AIM-7MH

The Aim-7 should lose semi active radar guidance as soon as the f-18C is hit and enters its 360 spin.

 

However the Aim-7 still receives semi active radar guidance until it hits the target Su-27.

Tonight, Last DCS 2.5.4.26552 Open Beta.

 

AIM-7MH still tracking and killing my target after my plane being shot down.

 

I attached the tacview.

Last two engagements Hornet vs Mirage:

Looks like my radar is still tracking after my death.

Thanks. It's 'side effect' of interaction between new AIM-7M and plane radar, will be fixed.

F0r once the reds in blue flag see what is it to be shot by a ˋr-27t like' ;)

 

And think about the fact that we don't have datalink or irst to be stealthy hahhah

 

Another question to the dev team- when you are locked and unlocked by a f18, the warning on the rwr stays on 5 seconds more than the radar lock. Are missiles still guided during those 5 seconds ?

@ FZG_Immel. If you have found another issue, create new thread with track file.

Also FZG_Immel R-27t have a Infrared seeker. They will kill you even if you kill the launch aircraft.
