BlueJacketWarrior Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Hello, So I am having an issue figuring out how to use the hand controllers as a RMB click. The trigger is the LMB but I still cant figure out the RMB. I keep having to switch to my mouse if I have to switch something off or in another direction. And I cant seem to map it in my controls section. Any help or info would be helpful
arturojgt Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 When you turn your wrist and your palm is facing up the trigger turn a blue laser pointer instead the green, that’s the right click. Sent from my Tornado IDS while on autopilot using Tapatalk Pro. Arturo "Chaco" Gonzalez Thomas
Harlikwin Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 I have no idea how people are able to use the touch controllers in VR effectively in concert with a hotas. Hi, I have mapped all the buttons in the controllers (TMW), use Rift and some time to time the controllers during start up, flight and landing for some specific tasks. I can’t imagine never again in my life using a flat screen for DCS, also I can push buttons and rote knobs with VR hands!!! It’s awesome. Harlikwin Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Just to be clear. I've got a Rift, and the touch controllers. I guess I could see it for cold starts, its just that once flying its much easier to grab a mouse to push buttons that aren't mapped on my warthog than fumbling trying to grab the touch controller. That being said I'm looking forward to either the capto-glove or miles vr mouse thingy. New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. For someone who is intimate with a Hornet cockpit it's easier for me to use the hand controllers than have to map everything. Especially since I lack a HOTAS at the moment.
Harlikwin Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 My comment is really about using them WITH the Hotas. I have used them otherwise, but switching between HOTAS and Controller is a no-go for me. New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog.
