Hi you all.

When I tried to drop chaff and is in S mode it not work, but if I press the chaff button again and change to P work perfectly.

Any ideas?

Is part of the programing the countermeasures. I have not tried enough to learn all you can do and I do not know if it is fully implemented yet. But you can change some of the programs to drop X amount of countermeasures with one press.

To whom it may concern,

Thank you for you patience.

 I thought they had to be in 'S' to work. Do you have the ECM page selected in the right MPCD? When doing SEAD missions, I always go in setup like that and IIRC chaff and flairs (OSBs 4 & 5 on the ECM page) are always on 'S' per default.

If anyone has figured out how to program deploying chaff and flairs, it would be really awesome if they could explain how to do it :)

I can confirm that Chaff is not firing with whatever is bound to the HOTAS chaff button. I have one button on my TM Warthog HOTAS Stick and one on my TM Warthog HOTAS Throttle assigned. Neither work. I then changed one to Fire All and it fires chaff ONLY, not Flairs --per observing the counts on the ECM page.

You need to set up a chaff program during or after startup. For some reason, there is none, maybe something that arose with the implementation of the program page.

It's not super intuitive at the moment, and I don't think it's finished.

Like in the Hornet, the button descriptions saying Chaff/Flare/All might be a bit off and mean more something like different CM programs. I'm not at my PC atm, but can post pics later, if you want.

Chaff used to be deployed in previous versions when using the dedicated Chaff Release button...

In the EW page with both set to P, and using the HOTAS button for countermeasures they both work as program. There are more option for the chaff than the flare. Pressing the HOTAS to launch both works as program as well.

I should have said it, but I was speaking about OB 2.5.4.26552. I know that it did previously work as intended, but in this OB version it is not, as stated in my previous post.

Are you talking about the same OB version or the release version?

I meant using :P

I created a quick mission, first I tried just the three HOTAS buttons, then i tried each after programing them in the EW page withing the pit.
