strikeeagle Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Performed the latest 2.5 update and now it asks for product keys for the A-10, F-5, and Nevada. It also says in 3 days F-18 and AV-8 will be deauthorized along w/not being no longer authorized for Persian Gulf. What's the deal? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Chris
Czar66 Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 (edited) I was almost freaking out just now. All my modules or almost all including the hornet and Persian gulf are giving the "not authorized to be used with your account" error at the DCS launch. Now I cannot use any of my several modules of DCS even offline. What the hell is going on? Edit: It was probably a server issue that it seems to be back up now. That was a heart pounding one... David A Sell Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 (edited) I am having the exact same issue after 2.5.4.26825 patch , Hoping you got some resolution? I opened a ticket. - just to update anyone with similar problems.. Prior to this patch I had reinstalled on a new rig, moved all my modules over manually on a drive to avoid the huge download, That turned out to be an issue. Used to be able to get away with it, now it seems to through a version mis-match. Ed does describe a way to do it properly here, And I did not do it that way, but even it comes with a disclaimer that it will degrade. Hope this helps anyone out there freaked out like I was!
