I've just updated my DCS install, and noticed that of the 82.8 GB used, 33.3 GB is in my Mods folder. If I installed any of that myself, it must have been done some time ago, and I don't think I need it now, since I can't remember what any of it does. Is it safe to delete the content of the Mods folder and its subfolders, or is there stuff in there that is necessary for the sim to work?

There are two Mods folders, one is on /Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Mods ... the other is on /Saved Games/DCS/Mods .. the one at Program Files is where DCS stores all the Modules you have purchased, so it is best to manage it trought the Module Manager on DCS main screen.

To know well this in advance won't be ever good enough.

Thanks a lot, Rudel!

You are welcome .. this is a subject that confused me too at the start ... for ED a MOD is short for MODule, while for modders MOD means MODified game files .. it's very confusing :)
