Again! Most updates overwrite my keyboard, key settings, and axis on most of my A/C ( I have a bunch). Each then require a long time to reprogram.

Can ED provide us with a tool to save or keyboard, key assignments, and axis settings we can then import?

you can make a back up copy of the input folder and replace the files in it per AC as needed if update mess it up.

C:\Users\dreve\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input

 

edit: I believe you can also load the files per AC in-game

But you can save all your controller settings and they won't be overwritten when the sim gets patched. There was one update a while ago that messed them up, but that was an unfortunate one-off AFAIK. So what exactly is the problem here?

It already has that option. You can backup your settings via the in game UI or do as the previous post says back it up via C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input

I understand what all are saying however, when I import the saved a/c profile, the pic's in my post is what I get! Not all a/c are affected, but most are. I assume only a/c that have had a change to some file/folder are effected! :)

 

I even copied the "config" file out of save games, but same thing!

After the last update my HOTAS mapping is gone, and I am not able to re-map in the options section. :(

 

Any solutions?
