Worrazen Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 (edited) Well at least on my Win10 and PC, DCS simply switches to borderless-windowed and stays expaneded across the screen, it also sticks on-top so it's just hard to do things. It is sometimes impossible to tell if the application is fullscreen-exclusive because the taskbar can be hidden in borderless-windowed mode and looks exactly the same as fullscreen-exclusive, if you keep hitting ALT+ENTER you'll see it switch but the taskbar doesn't show up nor does the window downsize, there would be no difference apart from remembering what you started with and how many times you switched. I think this is by far the most annoying thing that I have with DCS. Is this the usual behavior out there, what about the rest of you guys? David OC Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 I just hit alt tab or Win tab etc until it shows up at the bottom. If your trying to work on a mission and use desktop, some guy's lower the res in DCS down to minimize DCS. See me Alt tab here You're only able to Alt-tab because you have so many programs open at the same time. Without any other programs open, Alt-tab should take you to the desktop. DCS cannot do this in Win10.
Worrazen Posted February 16, 2019 Author Posted February 16, 2019 It is true that sometimes this behavior is welcomed, but only in those circumstances and less than half the time. It behaves as as an always-on-top window, which also means that when you click something else it's DCS that's going to show up in front any it takes spending a lot more clicks back and forth to show the windows I need.
