FlyingDeacon Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 In missions with sound files attached such as Red Flag Iron hand, the ambient radio chatter is too loud. Is there a way to edit the volume without effect all other sounds without editing the mission?
Habu_69 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Agree on the chatter. I reduced volume by opening mission file in WinRAR. Find the audio file in the I10n/Default folder. Copy that file to to another location. Edit the volume in any sound editing program. Then open the file in the ME and in triggers replace existing audio file with the new one.
wrl11 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Like Habu said, when I put chatter in my missions I have to test and adjust the volume in the sound file before adding it to the mission because you can't just adjust them in game. .
ScopeDope Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 Not sure how that specific mission is built, but in my missions the radio chatter will play over a frequency, so if it's too loud, turn your COMM1 (2) volume knob down.

ScopeDope Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 How do you do this? Mission trigger, RADIO TRANSMISSION. or AI TASK PUSH with task of TRANSMIT MESSAGE
