otester Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 I've seen many F-15's take off and those engines are powerful, can go straight up and get pretty high pretty quickly. On LOMAC 1.12a for some reason the engines seem to lack any real power when you really need them. Taking off being one example. But when flying straight it takes ages to build up even with (afterburner on all time), eventually getting upto 1500. This is real problem for Russian planes, F-15 is knowhere near as bad. Any reason why it takes so long?
otester Posted July 28, 2007 Author Posted July 28, 2007 ED knows the engines aren't right on the F15, as well as a bunch of other stuff related to it. So is there a patch in the works ?
SuperKungFu Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 probably....but don't get your hopes up. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Vekkinho Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 F-15 is seriousely downgraded and messed up here... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Force_Feedback Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Yes, and the Russian planes have their real thrust moddled 100% correctly, as I'm sure you tried doing the maneuvers and take-offs the way the Russian planes do on videos, realistic, eh? ;) They both are off, well, according to manuals which were made with math and not taking into account the amount of stray carbon particles in the air, slowing the plane down more, reducing engine efficiency slightly, those kind of variables. Su-33 is rly bad for acceleration. Cruise for while and you'll get 1000 easily.
