Updates keep wiping my progress

I'm not sure I will ever complete a campaign. Every few days or so (I'm assuming every time the game updates) it seems to knock me back to the beginning of my campaign. How do I fix this??? I'm running DCS 2.5.4. This is becoming exhausting.

Campaign progress is stored in logbook.lua, it shouldn't be deleted/reset by updates.

 

You can backup your logbook, if you are having issues ...

 

Release\Stable

 

• "Saved Games\DCS\MissionEditor\logbook.lua"

 

Open Beta

 

• "Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\MissionEditor\logbook.lua"

 

In your logbook, make sure your pilot is set to

 

• Invulnerable=YES

 

 

as IIRC, otherwise all progress/stats are reset and you are asked to create a new pilot, if you die in a mission i.e. crash or are shot down.

Thank you for the reply. i'll give that a try. Something is definitely resetting my progress though. I'll just back up every time i reach a new mission in the campaign I guess.
