OR... just replace the sound and the wallpaper for the module you want to replace. I am not near my computer at this time, but I think it's stored for each module (under Mods, I think). EditorMusic is the theme for that module, and the wallpaper is stored under Skin or ME. I will check once home and update

thanks guys!!

You are welcome :)

I prefer to make use of the User Theme, as all changes are made on /Saved Games/ instead of at /Program Files/ where they can be overwritten by DCS periodic updates.

As DCS only allows a single User Theme, I use a Mod Manager to switch among several Themes that I've made, like this:

In addition to changing the images, the Theme allow you to have custom background music .. you can use any MP3 but have to convert it into ogg format, that can be done easily online .. I use this website for that: https://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-ogg

Best regards

Another method instead of modifying existing module artworks (which risks being rid of by DCS updates/repairs) is by making a simple plugin. Doing this allows you to turn it on and off, it will not interfere with updates/repair, and it will pass IC. Just place in your Saved Games/Mods/tech folder and you're good to go!

(The Theme/ME folder may need to be altered to your liking based on the picture. base-menu-window is the only sample file provided with the correct width dimensions for the main menu.)

Yes, until recently that was the best method, I used it too ... but now that DCS allows you to have a Custom Theme just by putting the images and sound files at the specified locations on the /Saved Games/ filetree, I dropped the plugin and adopted the new way :)
