FoxDelta Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 i m developing an AV8 nozzle lever mod for the warthog hotas at the moment and plan to make it as non inversive as possible, fully 3d printable for home printers an not requiring electronics. so i plan to use the friction slider on the right side on the hotas. my question, to all that already opened their throttle, this slider has a center detent or something like that, will it be easy to remove this center stop? any ideas? plz my projects: https://www.sim-addons.com/ https://www.shapeways.com/shops/sim-addons-1 AV8B nozzle lever https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=233670 F18C fingerlifts https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=234747 F18C radar elevation https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=248080
mariner3302 Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 It is quite easy to do all of that. The detent is a small spring loaded button in the outside inner ring of the slider wheel. Simply pull it out and you are in business. I am making mine into the flap lever for the Tomcat. I cut the slider section from the throttle box and turn the slider over so side that holds the pot is now upside down. That enables me to attach that whole piece to the panels. Once you see it, it will make sense. i7-7700K, 32GB DDR4, 525GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080Ti 11GB, Liquid Cooling, Win 10, Warthog HOTAS, TPR Pedals, HP Reverb, Oculus Rift with Touch, Jetseat and bass shakers, PointCTRL, and Scale F-14B Cockpit
