So Gazelle is flying good now. I am more or less comfortable with controls. The controls are precise, and helicopter hovers OK. I still need to get a bit better at hovering. But visibility is so great, hovering is much easier. Even the controls feel that there is more 'give' in them.

EASIER CONTROLS is OFF and ENGINE BREAK is ON.

Track attached. Just a boring low alt flight from Nellis to Laughlin, through Grand Canyon.

Yes that would have been a decent flight duration, great that your getting it sorted. If you want just post a link to a short video clip would do.

If your flying in IGE maybe @ 2 mtrs it seems to help to keep it more pitch stable and also easy to keep the IAS up to 200K/Hr in the Mini-gun version. The Mini-gun version also offers great visibility. :)

Yes hovering really helps, as with all helicopters.

Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment.

Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above.

Sounds nice if you can do manual hovers etc. I have autohover bound to the throttle stick, also the collective and follow camera settings. Autohover is a challenge but it's another enabler as well.

You can start to try and hover behind/between buildings, trees, etc for a challenge.
