DutchCoolHand Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 What do I mean? Well, I had a GTX 1060 and knew that the performance was not going to be great but I was not going to upgrade my GPU..... After a week of low FPS, I upgraded to an RTX2070. I was having random crashes which I think by my power supply. After researching it online I saw many people with the same problem. We use the one PCI-E cable with the double plugs. The solution is to use 2 PCI-E cables as it gives more stable power. So u upgraded my power supply today. Moral of the story... I bought the Samsung O+ on sale for $200 less but ended up spending $725 to make it work :megalol: Now I love flying in VR even if it still not as good as it can be. AMD RYZEN 7 2700 / 32GB / RTX2070 / 500GB M.2 with Windows and DCS / 2 - 500GB SSD / Rift S/ TM Warthog with F18 stick and Virpil WarBRD / Foxx Mounts/ MFG Crosswind rudders + 3 MFD's | Now enjoying VR with PointCTRL controllers + Gamematrix JetSeat
cercata Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 VR elevates the minimal requirements of games, and DCS minimal requirements are already BIG, so yes, DCS on VR is expensive :( BUT I WANT IT !!!!!!!!
