I_Gamer Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 (edited) In a saved track replay - if a player uses the Jester AI, the control panel does not disable and requires taking control over the aircraft to disable it. Track replays do not seem to function correctly, and 9/10 times the plane ends up in the ground one way or another. Seems like the game is not recording the tracks correctly? When selecting the unit in the editor for the first time on DCS bootup, the game hangs for 10 seconds or so in the weapons dialog - I assume while loading the model? Same issue when "flying" the mission - the player is greeted with a black screen for 10-15 seconds while the game loads the model/textures. I do not have this issue with other DCS modules. My game/computer's drivers are all up-to-date and my game is running on an 850 EVO SSD. Just a few things I've noticed so far - otherwise she runs and fly's great! Nealius Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 The external model is also extremely slow to load in ModelViewer.
Ramrod_45 Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 I have the same problem. If jester is used during a flight when replaying the track the Jester menu appears at roughly the same time that it was used during the flight but remains on screen for the duration.
Soldia Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 Can confirm. When replaying the track, Jester menu is sticked open. Haven't found a solution to this unfortunately
Shimmergloom667 Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 Borked tracks is a DCS core game problem, it happens in other modules too, albeit not as bad as in the F-14. Still: that's an ED / DCS thing to fix, I think. i7 - 9700K | 32 GB DDR4 3200 | RTX 2080 | VKB Gunfighter Mk II /w MCG Pro | Virpil T-50CM2 Throttle | TrackIR 5 | VKB Mk.
