Shadoware Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 (edited) I would like some info about this 4 data in the ATC field, please. I know one of them is the ATC radio freq. but about the others? Other question: Is it possible to make dcs show coordinates with lat/long in decimals instead of minutes, seconds too? . Edited March 16, 2019 by Shadoware
flyingfed Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 138.000 is VHF comm, 41.800 I believe is FM comm and 267.000 (note it's twice the VHF freq) is UHF comm. I don't know what 4.600 is so someone else will have to help with that.
Kang Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 The whole point is that these all are ATC frequencies. The 138MHz one is your 'usual' ATC, but some planes aren't equipped with radios that can reach that frequency.
norbot Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 ... Other question: Is it possible to make dcs show coordinates with lat/long in decimals instead of minutes, seconds too?. Press "Alt + Y" in mission editor.
Shadoware Posted March 17, 2019 Author Posted March 17, 2019 Press "Alt + Y" in mission editor. This keybind works in the map during missions?
norbot Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 This keybind works in the map during missions? As much as I know, it only works in the mission editor.
Kang Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Actually there is also a keybind to change the coordinate format in the 'info bar' on the bottom, which should also affect the map. Something with a Y, found in the 'General' tab in your control bindings.
Shadoware Posted March 17, 2019 Author Posted March 17, 2019 ED could make more coordinate systems visible in the map simultaneously because different modules uses different coordinates systems.
Kang Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 I see how that would clutter the map rather terribly, but an easier method of switching between them, like a button on the map, wouldn't be a bad idea.
