bonesvf103 Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 (edited) Every so often at random, when I fire up the game, right off the bat before I even do anything I have noticed that the wings don't work. TheWINGSWEEP and the CADC warning lights are on before I even do anything. The wings only work manually, and it's a pain to have to keep looking at the wingsweep indicator and follow the CADC schedule and adjust the wings accordingly, especially when you're in a dogfight. The only thing that makes it go away is to shut down DCS and start it up again. that USUALLY works but sometimes it doesn't and it's a pain, especially since it takes so long to load up to begin with. Anyone else have this problem? I don't know how it gets triggered. You can switch missions and it's still there. The wings do move but only in manual mode. I can sweep the wings to where the CADC scheduled position is and then hit AUTO, but it will just stay in the same position I left it at. So it only moves manually, even if it says auto. Again, the CADC light and wingsweep light are on. And seriously it is as soon as the mission starts. I click "fly" and look immediately at the warning lights and there are CADC and wingsweep warning lights...so it's nothing I've done. Then, if I shut down DCS and restart and go to the same mission and click "fly"...the warnings are gone and the wings work as they should. v6, boNes Edited April 2, 2019 by IronMike "Also, I would prefer a back seater over the extra gas any day. Dino Might Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Hit "Master Reset" button near your left knee on the front panel.
Daimaju Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 To add a bit more detail... You are supposed to hit the master reset right after you set the manual/emergency wing-sweep handle.
