viper2097 Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 When I try to input manual waypoints, I can do that for the Latitude and Alt, but not for Longitude. Here I did a video: Steam user - Youtube I am for quality over quantity in DCS modules
QuiGon Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 That's weird. It works fine for me. What I do: 1) Press CLEAR 2) Press LAT 2) Press N+E 3) Enter coordinates 4) Press Enter 5) Press CLEAR 6) Press LONG 7) Press N+W (or S-W if on NTTR map or western part of Normandy map) 8) Enter coordinates 9) Press Enter 10) Press CLEAR Done Works fine for me Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Looney Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 I can't see the TID correctly, but you're entering E 41 48 13 and as far as I know, the system can handle only 5 numerals, leading the system to interprete your input as E 414.81.3 which it declines. Try entering E 41 48 1 and see if it accepts that. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Commodore 64 | MOS6510 | VIC-II | SID6581 | DD 1541 | KCS Power Cartridge | 64Kb | 32Kb external | Arcade Turbo

viper2097 Posted March 19, 2019 Author Posted March 19, 2019 Looney, you nailed it! Thx, this was the problem, it should be entered only one decimal. Background: When aligning, I used the Kneeboard. There is only one decimal. When entering the waypoint, I used DCS F10 coordinates, which have two decimals. Did not yet noticed that I've entered one decimal too much.
