Ejecting in the right way

Hello everybody,

somehow I've currently problems to eject correctly from the F-14. In most of the emergency exits I'm passing away. I've tried serveral scenarios: Airspeed fast or slow, cockpit roof previously dropped off or because of no time left - not discarded. So now the question - what am I doing wrong? Btw, I usually die shortly after the ejection, probably I'm hit by something.

How are you defining your "death"?

 

if external views aren't enabled and based on multiple view settings you can be sent to multiple different screens post ejection and it's all a bit messy when you add two crew.

Normally I'm still as a pilot in the simulation after the ejection and can watch how I glide via parachute to the ground. However in this case, the camera practically jumps in the 3rd person view after the ejection and the pilot is gone. I cannot switch back to him either via F1 or F2.

thats just the limitations of views you describe. ejections are pretty buggy for that.

Nine times out of ten, when i eject from the 14 the after action report says “pilot dead”

Yup same.

Human RIO always survives but I am dead just after ejection. (Confirmd in chat).

 

Only ejection I did survive so far was when the RIO popped us out on the ground after a flight.

 

 

And yeah, I need a lot of ejections in this module lol. Flat spins, wings snapping off or just beeing shot down :)
