mrkline Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 (edited) In multiplayer, the RIO often sees a fuel caution: It stays on the entire flight, and doesn't seem to go away when the pilot presses MASTER RESET. Edited April 14, 2019 by IronMike
QuiGon Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 I did have this as well a few times. I'm not sure yet what causes is, but I guess it just comes on if the fuel drops below the warning level and doesn't go away when refueling again. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Cold and dark startups on each one with a full aircraft. Caution panel always shows low fuel. Interesting, because I don't get that on startup. I always make sure to join in the RIO seat before the pilot does anything with the aircraft. Maybe in your case the pilot did already start the engines or requested rearming or something like that? No one touches anything until we are both in the cockpit and state we are ready for the prestart checklist. Although this isn’t the only issue we are having in MP, as a Rio I can’t see any of the light checks my pilot does, the fuel light always shows low in the back, and IF we eject, only the canopy jettisons if I fire the seats, or if the pilot fires them, he ejects but the canopy and myself stays in the aircraft on my sim. I’m assuming it must be a sync issue, I have since uninstalled and reinstalled the module, so I’m hoping that may fix the issues we are see8ng. Sadly I can’t check until weds as I’m working nights at the moment. BarTzi Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Wanna add to that - we always see this in MP. We think it's a result of pilot BITS not syncing with the back seat: INST bit (which should drop the fuel quantity indicator to 2000) doesn't translate to the back seat, and the LTS does not sync to the back seat as well. (tested in SP and confirmed to be working fine, this is a MP issue)
QuiGon Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 (edited) This bug is still not fixed... How to reproduce: Have a cold start F-14 with 0% fuel. Pilot spawns in, then RIO spawns in (multiplayer). Pilot requests refueling. Aircraft gets refueled, but the FUEL LOW warning stays lit for the RIO. That's at least how I always see this bug happening.
