Sabre AI probem at high alt

Here are 2 missions to demonstrate the problem. When the leader is an AI, the formation stays together. When the player occupies the lead plane AI wingmen fly slow and lag behind. As if their top speed was capped. The higher you fly the more pronunced it is. Can it be fixed please? Sabre missions are supposed to take place at high alt, and this is a major deal breaker for those missions.

I tested again, and at 35k feet I pull away even at 0% throttle!! It's somewhat there with the Mustang too. Maybe it's a more general DCS problem? Sure would be nice to have it fixed in oder to be able to create good missions.
