1Shot1KiLL Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 2.04.2019 crashed sometimes to desktop while just flying around [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
statrekmike Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 It would probably be a good idea to elaborate on the exact conditions immediately before the crashes. What map are you on? Are you on a public server? Are you playing single player via built-in training or instant action missions? Are you using your own missions? Likewise, go into detail (if possible) about what you are doing with the plane? Are you pulling Gs? Are you just casually flying around? If so, what altitude? These kinds of details can enable us to really help Heatblur narrow down the problems and get them fixed quicker.
Neuse Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Yeah CTD still happen. Just had one when locking at target in a ACM. Jester Said Target 8 nm and then crash. No log file generated no entry in the standard log.
Top Jockey Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 (edited) Experiencing difficulties to update to version 2.5.4.29004 (last week or so), I decidded to uninstall DCS and install everything again. Afterall it was a DCS related problem with the updates... whose solution was disclosed by people from outside ED / DCS forums, thank you @HC_Official. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3861745#post3861745 - post #4. What I did : - clean DCS World 2.5.4.29004 install ; - only have the Caucasus map ; - F-14 module install (no other modules installed yet) ; - NVidia drivers : 419.35 ; - after any changes at the sim's graphic settings - delete "metashaders2" and "fxo" folders ; - still playing only in single palyer ; Even though, if when in flight I got the F-14 wings ripped-off, there would always be a game / system freeze: - followed @Mustang advice (thank you), and tweaked with Windows pagefile ; https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=230471 Crashes ceased right away (fingers crossed)... hope this helps more people.
