I received and installed the green spring from Warthog Extensionshttps://warthog-extensions-by-sahaj.com/.

The pressure to move the stick is much lighter which is good but I feel there is a no spring zone in the center which makes it hard to make precise inputs. Also if you pull back on the stick and then add roll there is no spring tension.

does anyone else have experience with this spring? I wanted to try this before getting a Warbird base.

No, but I took the standard spring and cut off half a coil at a time until I got it where I want it. Still centers but requires less force to move. It still takes a bit more force than I would like, but if I remove any more coils it won't center, and this is just the physics of having that damn heavy grip up there.

I can try that, how many halfs did you end up cutting off?
