How to shut down engine

Hi

 

After land on carrier and I taxi to some area on the deck

 

1. I want to shut down F-14 the engine but i have no idea

 

2. How to taxi to park side by side other aircraft already parked

 

but there is no enough space to steer to align head ==> is this possible?

1. Just move throttles back pass idle detent by clicking on them. If you have Warthog and mapped idle detents to real throttles just lift them and move all back to OFF position.

2. Don't understand question here. Just engage NWS, sweep wings back and carefully steer to desired parking spot with pedals.

1.You mean i need to bind throttle Warthog idle detents right? i thought it's already assigned to Warthog in DCS world.. I will check and bind

 

2. I just want to park beside other planes alongside but i think that's not impossible without towing car

You can shut down the engine with the mouse by putting the mouse over the engine and right clicking.

 

 

YOu can park next to planes if you are careful and are good with the nosewheel steering.

Yes, you need to bind it. Not bound by default in DCS. Some modules yes, some no!
