Vekkinho Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Not sure I understand what you ask for, can you be more specific?! Cockpit height- are you reffering to a pilot field of view over the side panels. I ask because it is too limited in FC. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

There is a mode at lockonfiles with the higher field of view in coordinates relation to the cockpit. The creator of the mode might be able to tell you whether the field of view was being moved upwards i.e the camera or the cockpit moved downwards. I'd post a direct link to that if only I had one. I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.

No it is not hardcoded - there :) You can change the position of the cockpit(from pilot's view) in relation to the external aircraft model(both height and forth/back) via a lua script - namely "CockpitLocalPoint" in the Server.lua file(located in..\Config\View folder). For your purpose more specifically this particular line: CockpitLocalPoint[PlaneIndex.iF_15] = {6.45, 1.238, 0.0} The first value is for changing the height, while the second is for moving the cockpit position forth and back while the last is for the lateral position(I think). - JJ. 1 JJ
