SirWoofer Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Hey Guys, Anyone having issues with the Saitek Pro Flight Combat rudder pedals. They work great in all the other modules in DCS, but they do nothing in the F-14B. In Windows game control settings they work fine. When I assign them in the Axis configuration in DCS they are recognized and assigned to the rudders, but in game they do nothing. Any ideas? Thanks, Lynn

Thanks, Lynn Yes, My rudder pedals don't work on the F-14 and the update, 1 Apr, didn't help. The rudder pedals work on all other modules I've tried. Also, the keyboard Z and X will move the rudders. It is just normal open beta stuff, so give it some time and fly the Hornet for a while.

(Welcome, btw!) There’s something wrong in your bindings, maybe conflicts or driver issues, but if your peddles work with other modules they’ll absolutely work the the Tomcat. i7 7700K @5.0, 1080Ti, 32GB DDR4, HMD Odyssey, TM WH, Crosswind Rudder...
Deano87 Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Check the controls for the Hornet and the F-14 and make sure rudder is assigned to the same axis in both cases. If it is, delete the rudder binding for the F-14. Shut the sim down, restart it and then rebind and try again. Volare Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 You are correct, and thanks--hit the little down arrow and found Joy_RZ This was the first module that didn't have to be corrected for it to fly straight. Normally a new module has to be set up immediately because the throttles are hooked up to the rudder, and the views are hooked up to everything, etc., so I left it all alone to see what bindings Heatblur had in place, especially for DLC. Guess I'll pay attention.
SirWoofer Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 Hey Guys I got it straightened out. I had to clear it several times and it finally started working, strange:( Thanks for all the suggestions. Lynn
