Can i attach a light at an object, like for example the runwaylights ore the search headlights in Lomac. If, how? 2. I have made a Wind Sock ;) in Max. Is there a possibility to let these affect of the wind like the smoke in Lockon? Thanks for tips. Steffen

Steffen Here is the link to the page which may provide some clues for creating lights: http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=23846&page=9 I had to repalce guz-66-searchlight.lom with my model to make them come on at knight, the good thing is that you can create a variety of lights with any number or color (lamp posts, light projectors, disco lights etc.):noexpression: I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.

borchi_2b Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 so far from my experiances with the plugins from ed and many experiments, it is possible to replace cmd and lom files with this plugin. cmd files are old files from flanker, which are used in lomac. the problem i have right now is how to assign a bmp to some file that has not existed in lockon before. i hope the problem will solve soon. so you have to lock through the basar texture folders for your files you want to replace. http://www.polychop-sims.com
grandsurf Posted August 21, 2007 Author Posted August 21, 2007 I have no Problem to made complete new 3D Objects with new Textures and ad it in a new Slot as a complete new static Object for Lockon which can be used direct over the editor ;) bud what i miss are more details over the adjustment possibilities directly in the Plugin in max for making Lights, wind influences, destroyable Objects... borchi_2b Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 so then you aybe know how to put a new texture to a totaly new lom file? maybe you have noticed my post in the german lockonforum about the fueltank for the a-10? my mature problem is right now, that i don´t know where is can put the textures. for the former model there are no bmp files existing, cause it is an cmd file and i assume that the skinfile is somewhere coded inside the cmd file. should i try and place it in the same folder as a skin file, do you know if that will work? aaaaarrrrggggg i turn crasy, that damn hardcode, that makes so many easy things difficult!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.polychop-sims.com

So far I can export and also animate textured new objects to LO but as I produce night textures (Runway Signs...) ore Lights and destroyable Objects like the Plains? Pls help... Greetings Steffen
