I am not sure if this is a bug or if the radar really is supposed to be this sensitive, but it picked up 2 parachutes at 30 miles for me last night:

The F10 map showed nothing matching the 2 contacts in the middle of the screen:

But looking at tacview later, there were 2 parachutes at that location:

It may just be that sensitive. In modern fighter aircraft the biggest cause of radar return is the crew. That's why you see gold flake in F-16 and F/A-18 canopies. The radar could be reflecting off the pilot dangling from that parachute.

According to the TID picture the radar was in PD mode so the parachutes should have been filtered out even if detectable in theory.

This is currently a bug related to datalink, not radar - if I see correctly your datalink was on? Similar to datalink showing all kinds of missiles it shouldnt. We are currently working to fix the issue. Thank you.
