Which units operated the MiG-21 in the Caucasus region during, say, the 70s? I keep searching but I cannot find any information about them, or even get a general overview of the units in the area

Main: MiG-21bis, because pocket rockets are fun

841 regiment Meria/Kobuleti - MiG-21, Su-17

982 regiment Vaziani(Kandahar Afghanistan in the 80s) - MiG-21SM, MiG-23MLA since 1978

This is also a good starting point, although a bit confusing. But I did not find any other MiG-21's than Кош did.

This is gold, thanks!!! And Georgia seems to be a home for a lot of Su-15s and earlier Su-9 we don't have.

@corn322 Great!!! Thanks for the upload. Do you have more such maps from this region? Among other things, I would be interested in airports and areas on the Russian side.
