Naruto Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 (edited) Is there anyway to have the Devs darken the green and red Hud colors. It too light and so hard to see especially against a green background and in VR. Nodak Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 You can do it yourself, Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\F14\Cockpit materials file, find this materials["HUD_GREEN"] = {36,221,36,255} first three values are the red green blue, last is intensity which is already max. Go here, https://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_rgb.asp and play with the values to darken, or form a new VR friendly color.

Victory205 Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Is there anyway to have the Devs darken the green and red Hud colors. It too light and so hard to see especially against a green background and in VR. The F14 HUD wasn't crisp or particularly bright. It looked fuzzy compared to today's offerings. First time I sat in an F18 for a cockpit FAM is said, "Holy Shit, the HUD is magnificent..." Fly Pretty, anyone can Fly Safe.
Sergeant_Hamlet Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 I've actually been wondering if it should be made to look more fuzzy and difficult to see.
Sadist_Cain Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 I've actually been wondering if it should be made to look more fuzzy and difficult to see. Wouldn't say no to that.
