BitMaster Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 The performance it delivers on non-RTX cards is real bad. It can only serve as a demo to see if you like Raytracing. Which I will do once back home ;) Nvidia has 3 demos for dl if you do not own a title with RT Gigabyte Aorus X570S Master - Ryzen 5900X - Gskill 64GB 3200/CL14@3600/CL14 - Sapphire Nitro+ 7800XT - 4x Samsung 980Pro 1TB - 1x Samsung 870 Evo 1TB - 1x SanDisc 120GB SSD - Heatkiller IV - MoRa3-360LT@9x120mm Noctua F12 - Corsair AXi-1200 - TiR5-Pro - Warthog Hotas - Saitek Combat Pedals - Asus XG27ACG QHD 180Hz - Corsair K70 RGB Pro - Win11 Pro/Linux - Phanteks Evolv-X
Oceandar Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 Its actually more a teaser than a demo IMO. You try it then thinking ..."ehm....well I need more fps" and buy the RTX series much sooner than you need to. Its a clever marketing trick. Mastering others is strength. Mastering yourself is true power. - Lao Tze
skouras Posted April 13, 2019 Author Posted April 13, 2019 the performance is bad with drx enable but has good performance as a driver in our flight sim and the drx in battlefield 5 is not so bad i have it on medium and runs good [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]W10(64bit)Asus Rog Strix Z370-F - i7 8700K - Dark Rock Pro 4 - 16 giga ram Corsair vengeance 3000 - MSI RTX 2070 Super - Asus Rog Phobeus soundcard - Z906 Surround speaker - Track ir5 - HOTAS Warthog
wrl11 Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 It was slower on the benchmark (3D mark time spy) for me. 13200 vs 14000. I rolled back to the prior driver. .
