Messed up custom snap views

Yes I did mess up the snap views.... numberpad 0 thru 9. I was following the how to for custom snap views with my track5 IR hat on. Now I can't get my interior cockpit back, it is all contorted. I tried uninstalling the module and reinstalling it but the same custom snap mess is there. Maybe try uninstalling and the go back into Eagle Dynamics\ World OpenBeta somewhere … and clear out something hung up there.??? Bottom line...No more Custom snap views for me!! PLease advise.

You do not want to have TR running when doing custom snap views saving.

 

I am not sure if snapview lua is rebuilted during a repair or not but you can try copy past your current saved game config snapview lua somewhere for safe keeping just in case, then delete the one in saved games, run repair, restart computer, launch game, check if cockpit view has been restored. If not check if new snapview lua has been replaced in saved games. If that hasn't happened someone with a better idea will have chime in.

 

Or uncheck user saved snapview's in game misl.

 

Also remember to backup any lua files you are going to make changes to.

To restore snapview defaults, delete (make backup copy of) the SnapViews.lua file from the config\view folder. After deleting SnapViews.lua, make a copy of SnapViewsDefault.lua (also found in the same folder), and rename that copy SnapViews.lua.

Please backup files first. Don't forget, you will lose any previously made snapviews.
