Svsmokey Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 I am trying to eke out a few more month's service from the fighterstick before going Virpil . The one thing that i would like to improve in the interim is the spring tension , which seems too high for smooth control inputs , particularly small adjustments around the center . Is there an easy fix for this ? Also , I have the opposite problem with the throttle , which is entirely too loose . Sokol , you out there ? 9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2
Sokol1_br Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 The easy way is add rubber bands - the ones for secure model airplanes wings is better, over original springs. Can use too condom rings. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3059818&postcount=14 For stiff the throttle can use VELCRO® strips: https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6098

Svsmokey Posted April 26, 2019 Author Posted April 26, 2019 Updated : i have since found no need to decrease the spring tension on the joystick . My previous problem was in making tiny corrections around the center-point . I have since removed the deadzone (2) i previously had , and which it turns out , i didn't need . I am now entirely happy with the stick , and have no problem making miniscule corrections . Regarding the throttle , i will be making that mod soon , hopefully with the addition of an afterburner detent via the velcro as well . Still playing with axis curves/saturation before installing velcro . Thanks again , Sokol ! 9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2
