Make sure you don't assign the same button on one Saitek profile and you also have assigned it in DCS, that will be trouble. Also, I always disable "Clutch mode" in the Saitek control panel so I can use the pinkie button as a modifier in Saitek software.

Hi Leute !

 

 

Also , ich habe fast den gesamten Samstag damit verbracht , das Problem

mit der Joysticksteuerung zu lösen .Leider vergeblich .

Meine Einstellungen lassen sich weder mit der Saitek-Software noch mit DCS abspeichern .

 

 

D.h. : Habe ich ein Profil ( z.B. für die F 15 C ) erstellt und alles mit

" OK " bestätigt , funktioniert zunächst alles einwandfrei .

Melde ich mich aus dem Spiel " ordnungsgemäß " ab und fahre den PC runter , ist nach dem nächsten Neustart alles wieder durcheinander .

Ich habe auch die Datei für den Stick schon umbenannt ,

siehe Screenshot , bringt aber auch nichts .

 

Ich bin mir sicher das es sich hier nicht um ein technisches Problem mit dem Stick handelt da bei anderen Spielen ( CloDo ,IL2 BOX, ROF ) alles

einwandfrei funktioniert .

Ich begehe beim bearbeiten und abspeichern mit Sicherheit irgendwelche

Fehler , komme aber nicht drauf welche das sind .

 

 

Ich habe folgende Hardware mit der ich , wie gesagt auch in anderen Flusim`s erfolgreich fliege : X52 Flight Control System

Pro Flight Quadrant

Pro Flight Ruder Pedals

Die gesamte Hardware ist von Saitek .

 

 

Zusätzlich benutze ich noch einen ED - Tracker .

 

Was bedeuten die folgenden Module? : UH1 GAME

UH1 SIM ( die benutze ich )

UH1 GUNNER

UI LAYER

Mit Ausnahme der untersten Datei sind das die gleichen Namen .

Die unterste Datei habe ich probeweise von X 52 H.O.T.A.(.......)

in X52 UH-1H (....) umbenannt . Der Code in den geschwungenen Klammern

ist dabei gleich geblieben .

und im Spiel haben die noch den gleichen String in geschweiften Klammern ?

Oder heißen die da jetzt anders ?

Die Nummern verändern sich nicht. Zu mindestens habe ich das nie

gesehen . Wenn ich mir aber die Strings vom ED-Tracker

und dem Joystick anschaue , so sind diese identisch , also ab dem Teil wo die Zahl mit 8001... anfängt .

Ist das denn richtig , müssten die nicht unterschiedlich sein ?

Der Quadrant und die Pedale habe da andere Nummer , fortlaufend ( 8002...bzw. 8003... ).

First, stop DCS World completely so it is shut down before doing anything!

 

You are mixing up the files that DCS saves automatically with the files you use "Save Profile As" files you save for yourself. DCS saves all settings automatically, there is no need to use "Save Profile As". I have previously suggested that you remove the X52 files from the "Joystick" folder and make a new one for the X52 by letting DCS save it automatically. Then you will learn that DCS only saves changes you do the profile and that the profile file has the same name as the profile row in GUI settings. You seem to not understand this fact.

 

All the saver profile files are text files that only contain "differences" you are doing to each aircraft profile, that is why the files are named "diff". They are regular text files you can open and look at but please please do not try to edit and save them as this will definitely bring you water over your head. Use the DCS World GUI settings and profile editor.

 

All profiles in DCS have "Game" and "Sim" but if you are not playing in "Game" mode you don't need to bother about the "Game" profiles. DCS "Game" is a completely separate "Game" in DCS where you are playing in 3rd person view, don't use it.

UH1H Gunner is, of course, the keyboard/joystick profile that DCS is saving automatically for you when you do changes to the Gunner side in the Huey. It has multiple seats!

No no, I did not mean that! You just misunderstood the use of the Save Profile button. ED should really rename these buttons to "Backup Profile to file" and "Restore Profile from file", would remove any confusion.
