If you repair the hornet for any reason, the radar altimeter fails, emitting a continuous warning, unless the landing gear are down.

Re-repairing does not fix the issue.

In the past, initially when I first encountered this issue, shutting the bird down with the radar altimeter off avoided the problem, but seems that doesn't work now. For a while after that, the BIT seemed to function, and that also fixed the problem. I didn't log a fault because I presumed that might be standard behaviour if you left it on when the aircraft was shut down, and the BIT functioned as a reset.

But now either method doesn't fix the issue.

Also, the SAI doesn't work any more, you cannot cage it or uncage it. You cannot cage it prior to shutdown either to perhaps avoid this issue. This is less of a problem than the radar altimeter, where its kinda handy to have if you need to do some low altitude flying in low light.

Lastly the GEN TIE reset doesn't turn off when you close the guard - I believe this has been reported elsewhere however, and I don't think its specifically related to repairs.
