Hello,

I am fairly new. I bought the F-18. I have a basic question. Where is the manual that is supposed to come with the F-18???

I have Chuck's guide which is great but I am trying to do basic things and never know how to accomplish. Things like how do I know which button to push to view the bomb dropping into the target???

I thought that there would be a manual that came with the F-18 when I bought it. maybe there is, and I do not know how to find it.

Can somebody clue me in????

Thank you

Not sure whether that'll actually be in the Hornet manual as it's more of a DCS-wide thing. I think it's F6 on your keyboard to follow ordinance (F1 is internal, F2 external, F3 flyby, F4 body shot, F5 looks at nearest aircraft, F6 is ordinance, F7 is ground units, then my memory gets a bit hazy but there's normally carriers/airfields on F8 or F9 and then F10 is the map).

As backspace340 said: Things like camera modes are not specific to the Hornet, but apply to DCS in general. Hence you won't find that in the Hornet manual. Take a look at the general DCS manual instead. It's also somwhere in the DCS folder. I don't know the exact folder path out of my head but I guess it would be something like that: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Doc

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
