Hey guys,

hopefully I haven't overlooked something when searching for this!

This just came to mind, but I can't be the first one to think of it: can you shoot a E2C (forgot the name of the Russian counterpart) with a AGM-88 HARM? Does it lock, track and hit a moving aircraft?

I can't test it myself right now (abroad and all that), does any of you guys know?

What is the difference between a landing, a good landing and a perfect landing?

-After a landing the A/C is back on the ground. After a good landing the pilots walks away. After a perfect one you can reuse the aircraft.

I am good at doing landings.

No, you cannot. The b52 incident was nothing at all like attempting to target an AEW radar.

so it ain't possible in DCS either I guess? Anybody tried it out?

thought it might make for a poor mans Phoenix :D (long range against slow moving targets)

... while targeting the shooting aircraft on some form of STT mode and thus providing a constant and stable signal to home in on. As a bonus, the b52 was directly in front of the shooter and not maneuvering.

Nothing like an AEW target, not even the same radio band.
