Landing and Taxi Lights

I think it's because the taxi lights point to the right, or something like that. If you pay attention you will notice that the right hand side of the aircraft is more illuminated than the left hand side. with taxi lights on

Yes . I have observed them closely and we note that they are not on the same axis. One is more forward than the other. I seemed to understand by reading that the thing was intentionally affixed to some Russian aircraft but I'm not sure if I understood correctly because I often use the translator and sometimes I struggle:blush:. IIRC it's correct, the view over the nose of isn't particularly good, so the landing lights are pointed slightly to the left.
