Making my WARBIRD + Warthog grip be seen as HOTAS Warthog by windows ?

I am currently set with a Thrustmaster Wrthog Hotas setup.

I want to change the base of my stick with the WARBRD base I just received.

I don't use TARGET so I don't need to program anything. every airplane in DCS is programmed in directX

Is there a way that the WARBRD base + Warthog stick is recognised as simply a Warthog Stick, with the same ID ? So I don't have to reprogram every airplane buttons ?

anywhere I can find this ?

Thanks a lot !

You do it with Virpil app. It’s in the manual and I don’t remember the exact process, but basically create a new profile, then change VID and PID and upload it to your device. VID 044F, PID 0402 don’t ask me how I remember those numbers lol.

what I did was save my WH joystick profile in saved games, then loaded the game with the virpil joystick and then loaded the WH joystick profile into the virpil profile and redid the lever modifier.
