ShaDowz Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Hey! seen a couple of server that have modified dots, i tried it but couldn't get it to work, dcs crash every time i start the server. i made the miz to zip, and unpacked it and put in the lables.lua in config, view. and then zip it back and made it to .miz. is there something else im missing? i did enable lables, only dots in the mission file. Anything else that i need to do?
shagrat Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Use a correct syntax in the labels.lua There were changes to the format and options a while ago. Also verify the filename, it is labels.lua NOT lables.lua (I guess it's just a typo in your post, but better check). You need the new labels.lua with the correct commands. There should be a labels.lua in the c:/Program files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World (openbeta)/config/view folder. If you copy(!) that one to your desktop and open it, preferably with notepad++ you can see the difference. Now you need to adjust the lines in the new file to reflect the changes done in the old one... It's difficult to explain in a text based forum post. It is more obvious when looking at the lua code.
