agathorn Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 This may seem like a silly question about scenery, but I keep seeing the arials for Dubai on my AppleTV and the city looks so very cool and would be fun to fly over and through. Mr_sukebe Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 I’m assuming that you could take a look a google maps and street map for a good idea of what it really looks like. Like some alternative commercial flight sims, ED have modelled some of the landmark buildings, and they do look stunning. The rear appear to “this area contains building type 361” and as such has those fairly generic looking buildings. Still looks good, but not 100% accurate. I’ve never been to Dubai, but have been to Abu Dhabi. The layout is correct, as is the grand mosque, Ferrari world etc. However, it’s not to the level that I could identify the office I worked in. I short, believable and looks great, but not perfect. 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat
