bobd Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I can't get to BIOS anymore by hitting delete, or F2. I found by going to settings/update security/recovery/advance startup (startup now)/troubleshoot/advance options. When I get there I should see UEFI firmware settings, but don't. Any suggestions please? Asus ROG Z390, I9 9900K , 32 GB DDR4, EVGA GTX 2080 Ti , Win10 64, Rift CV1 & S VR
Svsmokey Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 (edited) Re-flash bios ? Does bios still need a battery ? If so , sounds like you may need one . BitMaster Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 the root cause for that is the default setting in Bios for "Fast Boot" being activated. Deactivate that as a hardware freak :) There is like zero difference in how fast it boots either way with a SSD.
