Talonx1 Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 I've been flying the tomcat mostly for the last couple months and havent flown the hornet in ages. So i hop in and do some refueling and landing practice and notice that I get no audio indication of deploying the refueling probe or from lowering the gear. I've become really used to it in the cat and not sure if this is a bug I'm having in the hornet or if its always been this way.
ED Team Wags Posted June 16, 2019 ED Team Posted June 16, 2019 Based on our talks with Hornet pilots, this is quite accurate. Thanks Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/wagmatt Twitch: wagmatt System: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3729544#post3729544
Talonx1 Posted June 16, 2019 Author Posted June 16, 2019 Thanks boss, like I said wasnt sure it had always been that way or not. No complaints, just wanted to be sure. o7
Harker Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Think about the fact that you're hearing through a well insulated pilot helmet. You shouldn't be able to hear much. The F-14 sounds are nice and add a feedback, but they're way too loud in my opinion. Sent from my GM1913 using Tapatalk The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Mike68 Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 I'd really appreciate if ED would add an audio slider for the cockpit sounds (sounds for the switches, push buttons, gear down, fuel probe, weapon launches etc.) regardless of the other sounds. Personally I would increase it to a level to be able to hear the switches even with the Hear like in Helmet option on. In our virtual cockpit we can't "feel" the switches under our fingers, but with these sounds we would have some feedback at least. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
