Still Confused...re VR Optimization.

Ok folks, I've read the forums re the VR optimization stuff. I'm still confused. We have threads that say it was already implemented, we have a thread by Wags asking for additional info..for trouble shooting.

 

I'm new to the VR stuff. Pimax 5K+. You can see my setup in sig. I read the change log for today, don't see any mention of VR optimization. Based on the thread from Wags, is this still work in progress. I just can't keep up with all the changing threads.

 

I simple WIP will be fine. Otherwise. I'll work on tweaking my PiMax for best image/performance.

Still have some jitters, even with my machine! ughhh. Yes, I have followed the numerous threads on tweaking. Particularly the DCS PiMax thread. However, I haven't made any changes to the json or lua as of yet. Not quite that savvy to do so.

 

Thanks for any clarification. Any PiMax 5k+ users, any suggestions for optimal on DCS?

It was included in one of the open betas- not sure which. Most, or some people never saw any improvement leading to Wags asking for troubleshooting. Currently WIP as we have no other info. Release version does not have it for sure

Updating or Switching an Install Between "Open Beta" and "Release" Version Branches (1.2.8.):

In the Command Prompt Windows:

Type: dcs_updater.exe update <branch>:<version> (ie dcs_updater.exe update openbeta:1.2.7 )

Type: dcs_updater.exe update <branch>:<version.subversion> (ie dcs_updater.exe update openbeta:1.2.7.23803)

 

UPDATER VERSION 2.6.8.41 And Newer Use:

Type: dcs_updater.exe update <version>@Branch (ie DCS_updater.exe update 1.5.1@openbeta, DCS_updater.exe update 2.0.0@openalpha )

 

DCS_updater.exe update @release
