DEDI server and VR

I want to launch dedi server. But every time i do the rift boots up. When i close the app it closes the dedi server even tho DCS is not even in the rift library. Is there anyway to stop this?

try using Skate Zilla's launcher app, https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160053

 

stick in the settings you want - No render, no Vr, web gui ect..

then hit the dedicated serve mode button to launch DCS in server mode

hit the launch local the Web gui buton which allows you to see and control the missions you waht to load in etc..

 

short winded version, there may be a bit more to it but that should get you started and disable the rift for you the easiest way

He's still trying to fix that. I pointed this out some time back. He doesn't capture the process id of the seperate DCS.exe's so it gets confused which is which.

 

 

to workaround, Launch VR via the tool as normal, launch the dedi second as a manual click on the shortcut, set it up via the browser and then join VR. it's more faff. shutting them down, shut the VR game down first from inside. Then kill the process of the dedi.

Click off the option enable vr in the vr options tab. You can still boot to br from occulus if you want.
