F2 Bottom Bar - Can it Be Shut off?

Just a question to any who might know - is there a way to shut off the narrow bottom of screen status bar one gets after hitting f2? I want to do screen shots without it.

Lalt+y or Lctrl+y, one of the two. It's called the info bar in the controls setup.
