Frag Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 With the Dubai maps, setting the CIV TRAFFIC option to OFF in the mission will still spawn boats. CIV TRAFFIC should also disable boat. They are quite annoying when you want to have control of the boats over a region.

I think the tankers in the Persian gulf map are part of the scenery which I think is a bit of an odd decision on the developers part, but I do know of a workaround. You can place a trigger zone in the area you want to clear of static boats and use the scenery remove triggered action to get rid of them. Can be done any many times as you like so you can get rid of specific static boats if you like, or to work around the restriction that trigger zones must be circular.

It does work. Th only drawback is that it freezes the game for few seconds when it is called. So you better call it right at the beginning of the mission. So it looks like the mission is loading. I did not notice though if new one will spawn later on. I did not test this yet.
